🚨EM Survey Identifies Multiple Conductors for First-Pass Drill Campaign🚨 ➡️ Founded in early 2022, Altai is dedicated to exploiting the untapped copper and nickel potential of Central Asia. ➡️First-ever EM survey at our flagship Kokpekty copper-nickel project has identified multiple drill-ready targets, to be tested late 2024. ➡️Company has continued to take advantage of first-mover status: acquiring two new licences at Zaysan (81 km²) and Kokpekty West (142 km²). Cu-Ni-PGE-Ag polymetallic supergiants

The greatest discovery stories ever told: tribute Polymetallic zoned Ni-Cu-PGE deposits represent the highest value class of metal deposits, but they are sub type of a broader nickel sulfide category that includes a huge range of quality and quantity and that nuance matters, not just academically but economically. The rariety and small footprint of these deposits coupled to major structural changes in the Nickel industry (the 2000’s demise of Nickel majors) has left the industry failing to find and mine quality deposits contributing to what BHP calls the ‘Nickel value gap’, a term I really like. We are finding the wrong type of Nickel sulfide deposits (quality is tied to deposit sub type) and as a result directly competing against Indonesia ie we are failing Nickel strategy on line 1. I’m giving a talk at MDRU on June 3 (next week) in Vancouver, and at the CODES Critical Minerals Symposium on July 12 in Hobart on the latest advances in exploration ideas and technology for discovering these deposits. One of the most intriguing new advances has been recognising the technosignature of the deposit or the footprint of the deposit as manifest in the human use of the metal. This footprint is bigger than the deposit and can be traced from archaeological digs and numismatics, a left field dataset for most of the mineral industry. This footprint records the discovery and mining of deposits from the Bronze Age to the present. Nickel wasn’t identified as a metal till 1751, so this is over 5000 years of accidental discovery of a rare deposit style lost amongst a plethora of other Copper deposit styles. The old saying where is the best place to hide a leaf?, in a forest. Where is the best place to hide a Polymetallic Cu-Ni-PGE deposit? Amongst copper prospects. We have learned this lesson time and time again across modern history, and as it turns out ancient history. Many of the world’s largest deposits eg Norilsk, Jinchuan can be shown to be rediscoveries of much older copper mines. These footprints are a record of Nickel discovery through time from 1st dynasty pharaonic Egypt, the Hittites (who get the prize for being the Nickel gurus), to the footsteps of Alexander the Great, the Han dynasty, all the way to the Russian empire, but here’s the aha part, some of these deposits havent been rediscovered, lost at the crossroads of religions, empires and walls. The science of archeometallurgy is a tool to track provenance for history studies, its adaptation is an exploration tool. This coin (photo) dates to 160BC and is composed of Cu-Ni-PGE (from a polymetallic deposit, not deliberately alloyed), the Snow Leopard and Hellenistic iconography and sulfide chemistry is a targeting tool I will be giving a MEGWA talk focussed on the ancient history of Ni-Cu-PGE deposits in Perth in October. I will bring the coins with me. In between these talks I will be field bound, working my way along the Lapis Road. There are mines to rediscover along the ancient road

🌟 YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND A FREE PUBLIC SEMINAR - In Person 👉 MON Jun 3 at 2pm – UBC ESB 2012 👈 [new room] Access thru Main Floor TOPIC: Magma, Salt and Zoned Ni-Cu-PGE Deposits From the Bronze Age Till Tomorrow Presented by: Steve Beresford The world’s two premier mines are both Ni-Cu-PGE deposits with an insitu value of over a Trillion USD each, both formed by the unique processes associated with mafic magma intruding hydrous evaporites. The emphasis is placed on the word unique, which leads to a series of emergent properties that open a plethora of alternative exploration techniques. The current Ni price malaise highlights that the world continues to explore and mine deposits that need to be shuttered in cyclical markets. The reliance on poor Nickel dominant sulfide deposits reflects a multi decade long under investment in exploration of the polymetallic Ni-Cu-PGE sub type that represents the premier economic deposit style, not just the premier Nickel deposit style. As an illustration of the novelty of available exploration techniques we have undertaken an integrated archaeology and geochemistry study of artefacts and numismatics from the late Bronze Age to Iron Age. This first iteration of a global map demonstrates despite the fact Nickel wasn’t identified as a metal till 1751 that humans have been discovering and mining this polymetallic sub type for over five thousand years. The old adage of the best place to hide a leaf is in a forest is particular apt for a zoned deposit style that’s easy to overlook because the tip (of the iceberg) doesn't resemble a Nickel sulfide deposit. In fact several of the world’s premier deposits can be shown to be rediscoveries of ancient Copper mines, the most significant being the world’s largest deposit, Noril’sk. The archaeometallurgical signature of these deposits represents a technosignature (a larger footprint of human use of the metal). The rise of online museum databases plus novel non destructive geochemical techniques makes this a rare opportunity. A key geological implication is not just tracking the discovery of critical metals through time, but that these technosignatures define some deposits that haven’t been rediscovered. They are still sitting there waiting for rediscovery. ABOUT THE PRESENTER Steve's has been Chief Geologist of three mining companies (MMG Limited, First Quantum Minerals, IGO Ltd), a lecturer and Professor, and founder of several exploration companies. He has had the privilege of field exploration in 66 countries largely for magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE deposits. Steve is currently an Adjunct Professor at The University of Western Australia and founder of a number of private companies exploring through Central Asia to Europe. He is a board member of AGEMERA EU Project in Europe. REGISTRATION Please register in Eventbrite if you wish to receive a reminder for the event. https://lnkd.in/gCjRGxke Registration is not required to attend.

🚨 Pallas Acquires the Bor Sediment-Hosted Copper Project in partnership with Global Copper Major 🚨 ➡️Pallas has been granted a new sediment-hosted copper licence, the Bor Project (89km2). ➡️Bor is located in the Chu-Sarysu basin, one of the largest and best-endowed sediment-hosted copper basins globally. ➡️The project was acquired under exploration partnership with First Quantum Minerals, an alliance formed to target world-class copper systems. ➡️Bor is considered highly prospective, targeting an undercover host horizon which coincides with major structural intersections akin to those found at the basins largest deposit, the Tier 1 Dzhezkazgan Mine (2.0Bt @ 1.1% Cu for 22MtCu, mined for 100+ years). ➡️The acquisition increases Pallas’ total landholding within the Chu-Sarysu basin to 693km2 - a strategic footprint in a globally significant copper basin. 🚨Detailed reconnaissance at Kokpekty confirms distinct similarities with Noril’sk🚨 ➡️Detailed reconnaissance at Kokpekty highlights similarities with Noril’sk-Talnakh, the largest nickel-copper deposit globally. Noril'sk is the world’s largest nickel sulphide producer and among the top copper producers.  ➡️Parallels with Noril'sk evident across multiple key features at a regional, belt and camp-scale, underscoring a genuine and rare likeness to a truly world-class orebody.  ➡️Completion of high-resolution mag has confirmed the extension of outcropping intrusions under shallow cover and identified several key bifurcation points as high-priority targets.  ➡️First-ever EM survey to commence in the coming weeks with a focus on multiple distinct intrusive trends. ➡️Altai has continued to take advantage of first-mover status within this emerging Ni-Cu sulphide belt, having consolidated a district-scale position (471km2) over four projects.
