IGO has been a cornerstone partner of Teach Learn Grow (TLG) and has supported the organisation for ten years, through our corporate giving program. TLG is a volunteer and youth-lead organisation, led by 65 university students and graduates. Since 2011, TLG has continued to make a real and long-term measurable positive impact on the education outcomes of students at over 40 rural and remote schools in Western Australia and New South Wales, helping to bridge the gap and increase student educational outcomes. IGO is delighted to be a longstanding supporter of MADALAH, a not-for-profit organisation that offers secondary and tertiary education scholarships for Indigenous students from remote and regional communities to WA’s leading boarding schools and Australian universities. This year, we were delighted to again support the 2024 MADALAH Ball held last Saturday, one of WA’s largest Indigenous focused fundraising events. Our people had a fantastic time at the ball, hearing from current and former MADALAH students about the impact the scholarships have had on their future, and the strong vision of the MADALAH Board to increase the scholarship program in the future. As part of IGO’s partnership with The Push-Up Challenge, we recently hosted a celebratory wrap up event at our South Perth Office, which marked the end of the Challenge and invited corporate and community partners to come together and reflect on the history of the Challenge and what’s coming next. This is IGO’s fourth year supporting the Challenge, which saw a total of 218,000 challengers sign up from all over Australia and beyond (including 76 from Team IGO) and raised an incredible $12.3M in funds for mental health initiatives, crisis support services, and support for young people. IGO is excited to once again support the Telethon Kids Institute’s Broome STEM Festival which will be held from 7-8 August, following the success of last year’s inaugural event. The festival extends the work that the Telethon Kids Institute undertakes at their Discovery Centre based at Perth Children’s Hospital, where children can engage with science and medical research in an interactive fun way. The success of the Discovery Centre encouraged the team to develop an outreach program to provide schools in rural areas with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities. With IGO's funding, the Telethon Kids Institute will bring researchers to participate in the festival and provide transportation for schools located outside of Broome to attend. IGO has today released its operating and financial results for the June 2024 Quarter. IGO were pleased to host the launch of the Pride Professionals Mentoring Program last week. As Gold Sponsors, we were delighted to see such a fantastic turnout for the first session of the program, during which mentors and mentees completed their orientation and heard from The Hon. Stephen Dawson, Minister for State and Industry Development, Jobs and Trade on his personal journey as an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, emphasising both the progress made and the long road ahead. We are proud that two of our people, Sam Retallack and Linda Downes, are again taking part in this year’s program as mentors to empower LGBTQ+ identifying professionals and support them in reaching their career and personal goals, and we look forward to hearing about their mentoring journey throughout the six-month program. #makingadifference #pride #mentoring

IGO has a longstanding partnership with the Earbus Foundation of Western Australia, who have been aiding some of the most vulnerable children in Western Australia by providing a one-stop-shop approach to reduce the incidence of middle ear disease for over a decade. Since Earbus commenced regional services in 2014, the organisation has recorded remarkable improvements in reducing the occurrence and impact of middle ear disease and hearing loss in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and at-risk children.
