ARE Prep for Visual Learners
About us
Amber Book offers an online course for architects who are studying to become licensed. Our goal is to give you the highest likelihood of passing in the fewest number of hours studying. With 36+ hours of well-animated instruction and more than 600 practice problems with well-animated explanations, this course is intended to replace studying rather than initiate it. We think of the Amber Book not as study prep material, but rather as something approaching a university-level course, if the university-level course were focused on getting you licensed!

While on a 14-month military deployment, Captain Chad Pentecost hatched an ambitious plan: pass all six ARE exams before his deployment was up. Oh, and sit for all six exams in *six days*. It may sound hard to imagine, but by leveraging the discipline from his military training alongside Amber Book’s comprehensive study resources, Chad did just that — earning his architecture license in just five short weeks. Selected Works | Paul Rudolph | 1950s-1970s The work of Paul Rudolph, the late-mid-century architect known for his (sometimes controversial) brutalist designs, is on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art as part of a new exhibit titled “Materialized Space: The Architecture of Paul Rudolph.” The exhibition presents diverse works from the Library of Congress's Paul Marvin Rudolph Archive, including drawings, furniture, material samples, photography, and models. The exhibit aims to highlight Rudolph’s contributions to Modernist architecture, including his skill as a draftsman. The exhibit is on display at the Met September 30, 2024, to March 16, 2025.
