As we move about our daily lives, a fleet of 40,000 vessels, proudly American-made, crewed and owned, navigates our waterways and supports our armed forces in war and peace. All of this is made possible because of the Jones Act. 🇺🇸🚢

About us
The American Maritime Partnership (AMP) is the broadest and deepest coalition ever assembled to represent the domestic maritime industry. AMP’s membership includes vessel owners and operators, shipboard and shoreside workers, shipbuilders and repair yards, equipment manufacturers and vendors, dredging and marine construction contractors, maritime trade associations and national security organizations. All recognize that a strong domestic maritime industry is critical for America’s economic, national, and homeland security, and is best supported by maintaining the Jones Act as the foundation of America’s domestic maritime policy. America’s maritime policy is based on three time-tested requirements established in the best interests of the nation, American industry and its workforce. Any vessel transporting goods or passengers between two points in the United States or engaging in certain activities in U.S. waters must be U.S. owned, U.S. built, and U.S. crewed.

🔥 Another successful Welding Competition in the books! We had an amazing time supporting a thrilling welding competition with Project MFG. It was incredible to see the students in action and hear Senior Chief Paul Schiro inspire students with his insights on welding in the Navy. A big shoutout to our partners, Project MFG, TMG Inc., Rhoads Industries, and PA Talent Pipeline for making this event possible. We’re also sending a special thanks to our very own training instructors, Shawn J., and John W., for helping judge the event. And of course, a round of applause for all the students who participated - you are #buildingthefuture! 🙌 Congrats to the winners: First Place – Johnny S., Pennock’s Bridge TCHS Second Place – Logan R., Lehigh Career & Technical Institute Third Place – Logan A., Western Montgomery CTC
