Guess who has two thumbs, and is super-duper proud of the work that we're doing to disrupt and support nursing education here at Ohio State! Hear from Michael Ackerman and Stephanie Justice (and one of our incredible nursing students, Jordan Dallas!) as they talk about how virtual reality (VR) education is a game-changer. We've figured out that VR's superpower is the ability to give our students more reps (as in repetitions). More reps with patients. More reps in different situations. More reps to promote empathy. As we get more familiar and comfortable with extended reality (XR) technologies, our plan is to give our students even more experiences (yes, more reps on more stuff!). One of the items on our bucket list is to give them experiences dealing with patients and AI-infused clinical decision support. Perfect for XR!
