A portion of a multi-year expansion project at BNSF Railway’s intermodal facility in Stockton, CA, was recently completed with help from American Highway. To ensure joint stability, reliable load transfer and smooth slab-to-slab transition for the Burlington Northern Railroad Loading Apron project, contractor Coffman Specialties, Inc turned to American Highway for its premium-quality dowel baskets, conforming to Caltrans and DOT specifications. In Maplewood, MN, a notable construction project on White Bear Avenue is underway, spearheaded by contractor, PCiRoads LLC. At the heart of this project is the groundbreaking use of the EcoBasket™, a pioneering dowel support system that's setting new standards in construction efficiency and sustainability. Our Kankakee team got in the #Halloween spirit early this month, with the unveiling of “Rosie the Rebar-Riveter.” Rosie is on display through today at Perry Farm Park in Bourbonnais, IL as part of an annual event where businesses and families design, decorate and display a scarecrow. All funds raised benefit the Ascension Saint Mary Breast Cancer Foundation. Check it out!
