We’re excited to share the results of a new survey we conducted in collaboration with Wakefield Research. Our team surveyed 1,000 U.S. adults to gather their opinions on modular housing - homes constructed offsite and placed on permanent foundation. The findings show that almost all respondents (90%) found modular homes to be appealing, and 81% of U.S. adults would live in modular housing as an alternative to traditionally built homes. Check out a recent episode of The Daily from The New York Times, “How the Cost of Housing Became So Crushing.” This episode dives into the true origins of America’s #housingcrisis and the challenges we face today in trying to resolve it. It explores decades of underbuilding, #inflation, and zoning issues that have contributed to the severe housing shortage, along with credit and lending standards still "sick" from the Great Financial Crisis. The episode also highlights how the U.S. ramped up homebuilding after the Great Depression, and with focused efforts, could do so again. We think this is an interesting conversation, so give it a listen using the link below: https://lnkd.in/g_FFZWK9 #sfr #housing
