March is National Credit Education Month, a time to highlight the power of financial literacy and credit-building in achieving financial stability. A strong credit score opens doors to financial opportunities, lower interest rates, and greater stability. That’s why we’ve partnered with Esusu to help our residents build their credit simply by making on-time rent payments. Through this initiative, positive payments are reported to major credit bureaus, helping residents strengthen their financial future one payment at a time. #SFRmakesadifference #ResidentEmpowerment  

The Progress Communications, Brand & Public Relations team recently came together in Arizona for a team summit to focus on strategic goal setting, tour homes in the market, and focus on opportunities to support Progress’ 2025 priorities. The team also rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at Keys to Change, a collaborative force of 15 partner organizations with the shared outcome of ending homelessness, where they assembled 500 life-saving heat relief kits. Moments like these remind us of the power of teamwork and giving back to the community.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the resilience and achievements of women around the world. This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action,” highlights that progress comes from taking meaningful steps forward. We’re proud to support women through opportunities like our Workforce Development Program and learning and development initiatives—empowering them to thrive both in the workplace and in their communities. Our commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion ensures that our team members have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed and lead.

Did you know? Lewis Latimer, a Black inventor, played a key role in improving the electric lightbulb with his work on the filament – the part inside the bulb that produces light when electricity passes through it. His invention made filaments more durable and efficient, helping lightbulbs last longer and work better. This breakthrough made it possible for late-night maintenance teams to work efficiently under artificial light, changing how we work and live today! 💡
