Using its billions of historical records and public family trees, Ancestry discovered that entertainment powerhouse Dolly Parton and her goddaughter Miley Cyrus are actually related! Parton might sometimes be referred to as "Aunt Dolly" or "Miley's fairy godmother," but in reality, Ancestry found that the two "Jolene" singers share a common ancestor from Tennessee - Dolly's 6th great-grandfather and Miley's 7th great-grandfather - making them seventh cousins, once removed.
In an Iconic Twist, Miley Cyrus Is *Actually* Related to Godmother Dolly Parton
