What is good design? What makes for an accessible design? Is a design truly good if it can't be used by as many people as possible? At its best, the Internet offers inclusive and equitable experiences for every type of consumer. Historically, however, accessible design has been seen as a barrier to innovation. As consumers demand more from the companies they support, brands and agencies are answering a call to implement ethical design practices. Join us for Crafted Future: The Future of Design & Accessibility to explore how leaders from top brands and companies have reimagined their practices, and embraced the creative constraints to build more ethical products.

We loved bringing so many great people together for 'Anthem Talks: Elevate Your Impact' in partnership with Forum One at The Penthouse of The Pitch at The Wharf in D.C. Our excellent panel — Elisabeth Bradley, Rodney Harrell, PhD, Cory Darden Milam & Josef Hapli — discussed how mission-driven brands and organizations use their digital footprint to drive purpose-driven work, hosted by our GM Trisha McLoughlin. If you or your team are focused on social impact work, enter it to The Anthem Awards ahead of the Extended Entry Deadline at https://wbby.co/4cMJmNC AARP / The Rockefeller Foundation / National Geographic Society

A deep respect for water and empathy for those who lack it fuels Anthem Juror George McGraw’s fight to end water scarcity. In 2013, he founded the independent nonprofit DigDeep to build safe drinking water systems in Cameroon and South Sudan—only to get a harrowing wake-up call that their services were needed in the United States. This drove them to launch DigDeep’s first nationwide initiative, the Navajo Water Project, in 2014. At this turning point, McGraw realized that lacking clean water isn’t just a Global South issue but a worldwide one. As the 4th Annual Anthem Awards’ focus is to elevate impact in all of its forms, we’re not only exploring the work our Anthem Jurors do but also why they do it–and most importantly, who they do it for. 👉 Learn more about his work here: https://lnkd.in/eX9farRQ 🚨 The 4th Anthem Awards Final Entry Deadline is TONIGHT.
