Arch-Con received two Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Safety Awards yesterday. This is the third straight year we have received these two awards. One for Zero Lost Time in 2023 and the other for an excellent safety record in 2023 with a Zero Incident Rate building 275,000 and up work hours. Loving these progress photos of Modern Heart and Vascular Institute’s new medical office building in Humble, Texas. Tilt-wall panels are up and steel erection is underway on this 105,000-square-foot, four-story building smartly designed by Browne McGregor Architects Inc. MHVI will offer more in-depth procedures including cardiac rehabilitation, electrophysiology services, modern vein treatments, preventative heart care, cardiac consultation, cardiovascular exams, intensive cardiac rehabilitation and minimally invasive procedures. https://lnkd.in/e-exPGY

Did you know 1 in 5 preschool-aged children in Houston may not know where their next meal is coming from? Arch-Con partnered with Kids' Meals, Inc. yesterday to bag lunches for more than 400 children. Kid's Meals is a nonprofit organization that delivers free healthy meals to approximately 9,000 young children per day. All 400+ lunches will be delivered BY MONDAY! Thank you, Kids’ Meals, for allowing us to be a part of this special mission! We are truly honored.

We celebrated breaking ground on YES Prep Brays Oaks Elementary, a ground-up 72,000-square-foot school designed by Element Architects. This special milestone event commemorates their 10th elementary school. Their tag line, “big hearts, brilliant minds” embodies not just the aspirations but their commitment to each child in this diverse community. Through building this school, we are building a home for every student, staff member, and family member to feel a sense of belonging. Thank you to our wonderful subcontractors, Element Architects + Interiors and YES Prep Public Schools for making this dream a reality. Grading, utilities, paving and building slabs are complete at the Reserve at West Lake for High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company. This 181-unit garden-style project located near Kingwood, Texas has 109 townhomes and 72 apartments designed by W Partnership, Inc. Paving the way for The Sylvan, Marquette Companies’ build-to-rent development. Phase 1 - Framing is complete. Roofing, Hardie façade & MEPF’s are proceeding nicely. Phase 2 - Framing is underway. Phase 3 - Paving is finishing this week. This 300-unit master-planned community designed by Kahler Slater will have 68 single family homes and a mix of “Big House” concepts and townhomes.
