Scott County, Missouri, is home to Arevon’s 430 megawatt Kelso Solar Project, and we are dedicated to being an engaged community member throughout the project’s lifespan. ☀️ As a part of this commitment, Arevon is proud to support Scott County R-IV School District by backing several impactful programs:  - Enhanced school safety software.  - New Advanced Placement Biology course.  - Shop and construction equipment for the high school’s chapter of Future Farmers of America.  - The middle school’s STEM Club and Project Lead the Way initiative and the elementary school’s STEM Club and BETA initiative.    We were also grateful to partner with the Scott County Rural Fire Protection District, the Kenny Rogers Children’s Center, and the Southeast Missouri Food Bank.    Trish Evans, Arevon’s Senior Director of Community Relations said, “Making meaningful impacts within the local region is a top priority for each of Arevon’s renewable energy projects, and we are proud to support to the safety, education, and well-being of Scott County students, families, and first responders. Arevon's Eland 1 Solar-plus-Storage Project in Kern County, California, is supplying reliable, affordable energy to the local community during peak demand. ☀️🔋 A second phase of the project is underway, which will bring the total capacity to 758 megawatts (MWdc) of #solar and 300 MW/1,200 MWh of #energystorage once complete. At Arevon, we believe in fostering a workplace where employees can recharge, connect, and express their creativity. Two of our internal Affinity Groups recently collaborated to host a Zen Garden Workshop, offering employees a moment to decompress and design their own desk gardens using upcycled containers, hand-painted stones, and thoughtfully curated decorations. 🪴     This event was made possible by our mental-health focused group, Community for Awareness, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE), and our sustainability-driven group, Environmentalist Professionals (EP).
