🎨 We're beyond excited to announce the launch of our special collaboration with JanSport! The first collection highlights the incredible talent of artist #MiaBrown, who defies expectations and inspires with her remarkable artwork. 🌟 Representation matters. That's why we're thrilled to see JanSport taking a stand for inclusivity by featuring Mia's beautiful creations on both their adaptive bags (developed in partnership with Disability:IN) and their iconic bestsellers you know and love. By amplifying the voices and artistry of artists with disabilities, JanSport's not just making products – they're making a powerful statement about the value of diversity and the importance of representation in the arts. 🎒💫 This collaboration isn't just about bags – it's about breaking down barriers and giving artists like Mia the platform they deserve. Later this year we'll debut designs featuring work by ArtLifting artists #MJCooper and #SylviaBurnstein. Join us in celebrating this momentous occasion and spreading the message of empowerment and acceptance. Give a warm welcome to new ArtLifting artist Eliza Redmann (@folded_poetry on Instagram) of Durham, North Carolina! 💎 Eliza's journey combines her background in architecture with her lived experience of a #TraumaticBrainInjury to create #3D artwork that is both functional and visually captivating. Her sculptures explore complex geometric patterns and shapes, often using paper as her primary medium. Eliza shares, “Both the function and aesthetic of my work are born out of experiencing disability.” Through her art, she challenges viewers to see the world through her eyes, creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also meaningful and impactful. Eliza will partner with ArtLifting to provide clients with site-specific commissions, like Journey, (pictured in the first two images here) which was created with Greystar Apartments for The Fiona Luxury Apartments in Colorado Springs. We're excited to partner with Eliza to share her story and bring her artwork to more spaces. Welcome to the ArtLifting community, Eliza! Learn more about Eliza on the ArtLifting website: https://shorturl.at/6ZH2Y Image Descriptions 1 - Eliza Redmann stands next to her sculpture, Journey. 2 - Journey by Eliza Redmann - a series of brown, rust, and grey rock-like geometric shapes sweeping across a white wall. 3 - Close-up of Eliza cutting blue paper into 3D geometric shapes, arranged in a complex pattern. 4 - Red hexagonal 3D shapes arranged diagonally on a white wall, creating a striking geometric pattern. 5 - Diamond-shaped 3D forms in brown, beige, and gray, arranged on a white wall, casting shadows for added depth. #ArtLifting #InclusiveArt #TBI #Sculpture #Architect #Architecture #SiteSpecific #Commission #Geometry #SocialImpact #Interiors #Design

HAPPY 10 YEARS, ArtLifting!!!!! 10 years ago my brother Spencer and I had a vision of shining a light on the talents of artists with disabilities. Our goal was to create jobs for individuals otherwise excluded from the economy. Our goal was to create hope. We launched with $4K of our savings and have scaled to selling tens of millions of dollars of artwork. ArtLifting artists earn the majority of the profit from all art sales and have earned millions cumulatively. 🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️🎨🏋️♀️ I’m proud to reflect on some highlights from the past decade: 🧑🎨We originally launched with 4 artists in Boston. We are proud that we now represent 200 artists in 33 states. 🖼️Thanks to our artists' talent, we’ve sold tens of thousands of artworks across the globe. 🌎We have customers in 47 states and 5 continents now. Our artists' work is already hanging in 460 corporations and thousands of buildings. ❤️💙💜💛💚🩷🩵❤️💙💜💛💚🩷🩵❤️💙💜💛💚🩷🩵❤️💙💜💛💚 We recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary in person during our annual team retreat, and I cried reflecting about how many people I am grateful for who have helped during all of the ups and downs. I’m grateful for our artists, team, clients, advisers, and investors: 🩵Thanks to our artists and their families for trusting us with their stories and artwork. It is an honor to get to represent you. In particular, I want to acknowledge the 12 artists who have passed away since ArtLifting was founded. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to know them and learn from them. 💛Thanks to our current and past Artist Advisory Board members for your guidance and willingness to provide direct feedback. ❤️Thanks to our customers for choosing to champion inclusion and create jobs for artists with disabilities. You’ve made a tangible difference in our artists’ lives and have created warm, fun, creative spaces. 💙Thanks to the 26 ArtLifting team members for all you do to champion our artists and clients. At ArtLifting, we believe #DisabilityPride is more than just a month-long celebration — it's a daily commitment to recognizing and honoring the talents, histories, and perspectives of individuals with disabilities. The words of ArtLifting artist Wiley Johnson, whose work is featured here, inspire us to take action every day: “Your life can get better, but it requires you to think about the things you can change and to work to make those changes one at a time. That’s what I’ve learned.” Whether you amplify the voices of disabled creators, learn about #DisabilityHistory, or discuss accessibility in your workplace, every action contributes to a more inclusive future. So, what will you do today to celebrate disability pride? We are proud to champion the talents of disabled artists and invite you to join us in celebrating Disability Pride every day! ♿️ 🌈 You can follow our work and get helpful tips for advancing disability inclusion with the ArtLifting newsletter. The latest ArtLifting x JanSport collection spotlights the incredible talent of artist MJ Cooper! 🪐 This second collection from our collaboration features both bestselling designs and #adaptive bags created for people using mobility devices like #wheelchairs. As a child, MJ loved going to museums and practicing her creativity. However, creating art became essential to her well-being when she became ill with viral meningitis, resulting in #ChronicIllness. After experiencing a chronic vestibular #migraine, MJ will often paint what she saw when she closed her eyes during the episode, inviting the viewer to feel what she felt, but also transforming that pain into beauty. Visit https://lnkd.in/gdxUanz3 to get your own bag from this limited edition release! 🙌 Image Description: Graphic with ArtLifting logo reading "Exclusive Collection." Transcript: "My name is Allie and I'm a disabled artist. I work with a company called ArtLifting. ArtLifting is amazing because they help get my art into corporate or public settings. I've had my art on ATMs, I've had my art in huge buildings, it's all over the world! And that was because a business believed in me as someone with a disability. This year I'm so honored to be able to attend the Disability:IN Global Conference. And I will be on a panel with Liz Powers, who is the founder of ArtLifting talking about what it means to be a worker with a disability. I will also get to make art during the Disability Pride event. So, if you're going to the conference I would love for you to come watch me make art, maybe introduce yourself. I'd love for you to come ask questions at the panel. And I want to give a big shout out to Disability:IN for doing what they do, 'cause it's so awesome. And also for inviting me and ArtLifting to be a part of it too. I can't wait to see you there! It's the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month and we're here to remind you that art is good for your mental health! 🧠 🎨 Engaging in artistic activities and viewing art can profoundly enhance mental well-being. Art has the power to clear your mind, foster creativity, and increase cognitive functions and dopamine levels. To celebrate this powerful connection, we're spotlighting the work of Peter Perrino. Peter is a fine art abstract photographer and former fashion designer based in San Francisco. He lives with clinical depression and finds art to be a therapeutic outlet. Now working with digital photography, Peter has developed a unique abstract style through innovative techniques. His work, described as creating a “new dimension” akin to the Twilight Zone, has been a source of healing, exploration, and resilience. As an active participant in the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Peter co-moderates a support group for families affected by mental illness. He shares: “Art has the ability to heal. I can attest to its power in my life. When illness has crashed all around me, my art has given me the fortitude to persevere.” Discover more of Peter’s work and story on the ArtLifting website: https://lnkd.in/gqBKsq_Q Image: Chroma Scape by Peter Perrino - An abstract digital photograph composed of thin vertical lines of blue, gold, teal, and black. #MentalHealthAwareness #ArtTherapy #ArtLifting #PeterPerrino #HealingThroughArt #photography #DigitalPhotography #Creativity #MentalHealth
