✨ Still reminiscing about our incredible theatre opening last Friday! ✨ Our new state-of-the-art Borland Performing Arts Center, which seats 200, is already sparking excitement for the many classes and events we have planned. From acting to our highly anticipated technical theatre program, this space is set to be a hub of creativity and learning for our community.  A huge thank you to IKEA Orange County for their generous donation of furniture, which helped us create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our students and guests. Today, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of The Borland Performing Arts Center, marking a significant milestone as we celebrate our 20th anniversary! This state-of-the-art facility, generously funded by the Borland Family, will be the permanent home for our youth programming. It will offer a world-class space for performing arts education and empower students from all backgrounds to develop and nurture their talents. The ceremony unveiled our $1.5 million theatre, featuring a stunning 31 x 14-foot LED wall. It also included a special performance by our dedicated teaching artists, whose passion exemplifies our mission to inspire and uplift through the arts. In addition to hosting our students, the center will also serve as a hub for local artistic collaboration and be available for community use and rentals. A heartfelt thank you to Caryn and Michael Borland, our wonderful supporters, and the community leaders who joined us, including Costa Mesa Mayor John Stephens, Artesia Mayor Pro Tem Ali Sajjad Taj, and representatives from Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan's office, Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF ORANGE COUNTY, Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, and North Orange County Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to continuing our mission to deliver world-class performing arts education to students of every age and background, ensuring equitable access and opportunities for all!
