💡 Brainstorming, 🤝 collaboration, and 💭 forward-thinking: 3 words describing the Flamenco project meeting! On October 2nd, Flamenco partners gathered in Milan 🇮🇹 to review progress and discuss key results. The meeting focused on shaping the project's sustainability plan, with each task force presenting its achievements and plan for long-term impact. Project FLAMENCO brings and implements the methodology for an effective and long-term term collaboration on skills agenda in the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem. #PactforSkills

⚡ How can Europe’s automotive regions keep up with the fast-evolving industry? Our #EURegionsWeek session looked for answers! The high-level political workshop "Driving Transformation: Talent Development in Automotive Regions" was the place to discuss the future of Europe's automotive workforce. Carmen Maeztu, Regional Minister for Social Rights, Social Economy, and Employment of the Gobierno de Navarra, and Thomas Schmidt, Minister for Regional Development of the Federal State of Saxony, represented the political perspective. The cross-sectoral side was voiced by Judith Kirton-Darling from industriAll Europe and Petr Dolejsi from Automotive Skills Alliance/European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). 💡 One takeaway? ASA was created to act quickly, bringing different stakeholders together to tackle workforce challenges. We can’t afford to wait for the system to adapt on its own. 📍 And why the focus on regions? Because many workers are based in regions, and not everyone can relocate. Plus, regions play a vital role in education, particularly at the primary and secondary levels.
