Dwight “Tom” Vaughn joined DePaul Community Health Centers five months ago as the new PCP Service Line Leader. He works with leadership to strategically grow DePaul's PCP practice and specialty services through referrals, alliances, and initiatives developed for all patients in need of high-quality and compassionate health care. Tom will star in Rivertown Theatres’ production of the Tony Award-winning musical Hairspray. Performances happen September 13-19 at 325 Minor Street in Kenner, LA. Hairspray is described as a family-friendly musical, piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs. It's 1962 in Baltimore, and the lovable teen, Tracy Turnblad, has only one desire – to dance on the popular "Corny Collins Show." When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob, Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network... all without denting her 'do! Tracy's mom, Edna Turnblad, and her novelty store enthusiast husband, Wilbur Turnblad, played by Tom, proudly support their daughter's dream and become a part of the quest. Come out and enjoy Tom on stage! For ticket information, please click the link below. Break legs, Tom!
