DePaul Community Health Centers' (DCHC) President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael G. Griffin, MSPH, D. Sc., discussed the importance of training upcoming medical professionals during the GNOu Summit's panel presentation on "Leading the way in Healthcare Delivery & Technology Advancements to Save Lives." "Part of our Mission at DePaul Community Health Centers is to teach upcoming medical professionals and provide them with learning experiences," said Dr. Griffin. "Throughout the years, DePaul has had, and continues to have, partnerships with universities to provide different training opportunities, such as the Dental Residency program with NYU Langone, our Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program and the Family and Social Medicine Residency Program. It is important to allow upcoming professionals to rotate through clinics, see patients in real-time and interact with multiple professionals in a health care setting." Other panelists included were Quentin Bradley, Director of Talent Management at Ochsner Health, Dr. Shondra Williams, President & CEO of InclusivCare and Nichole Honor, Assistant Vice Chancellor, Economic Development & Strategic Initiatives at LSU Health Science Center New Orleans.
