Council of the Americas is working with senior U.S. officials to shape the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity to advance broad-based, sustainable, private sector-led growth across the hemisphere. On July 22, COA submitted a response to a U.S. Trade Representative call for public comments. In a letter, COA lays out framing principles designed to shape discussions, offer specific recommendations for action, and encourage a robust conversation on expanding investment and trade in a way consistent with the bipartisan Americas Act that has now been introduced in Congress.
