    11 months ago, I wrote a post asking parents of high school students, college students and recent graduates if they were concerned about their children’s readiness for today’s workforce, and asked for their interest level in trying new ways to rapidly help their children discover their career options and choose the right path. That post was met with a lot of enthusiasm, and also feedback on where existing efforts to solve this massive problem have fallen short. Our team has spent the last 11 months since then building something new to better prepare today’s students to navigate the workforce. Its fresh. It’s different. It’s beautiful.     Salesforce and I must be on the same wavelength today. I have been reflecting and acknowledging how much my life has changed since transitioning from teaching. I realized today marks a year and 8 months out of the classroom and 3 months with Wilson Language Training. I have challenged myself and grown more than I could have ever imagined. I have failed and learned from my mistakes. I have acquired new skills and sharpened others. I am proud of myself. Thank you Salesforce for asking us all to take a moment to celebrate ourselves. What a sweet little surprise on a Tuesday morning! ***Starting a whole new career at 4 months postpartum would not have been possible without Aspireship. I felt prepared and excited to enter Customer Success after completing the course. Check them out if you are interested in transitioning into a new role.
