A DMV-based business leader community providing capital, data, expertise and opportunities for elite advisors and CEOs.
About us
AEG provides elite business advisors and midmarket CEOs with unprecedented business development and peer-to-peer networking opportunities. Our collective purpose is to help business owners gain from one of the most enduring lessons of each recession: the most operationally effective and the most agile companies generally suffer the least and are poised for the greatest gains. Our core principles are to integrate advice, both across disciplines as well as combining personal and business, in an owner-centric advisory model. It is to provide local advice by professionals who know the local market, have access to capital, information, and connections in those markets, and have a stake in the local communities. Finally, we are committed to improving the business advisory process by moving away from discipline-centric advice to a more owner-centric, cross-disciplinary consilient approach AEG works directly with individual business owners by providing professional services on a contractual basis. These services include research, diagnostics, information, expertise, collaborations, access to capital, and referral to needed resources. A relationship between AEG and an owner can last as little as a few weeks or years.

One of our core values at AEG is "Give First." What that means for our members is they put others ahead of themselves and strive to give referrals to AEG members to help grow their businesses. But what makes a good referral? In this short video, AEG Co-Founder and CEO Mark Haas shares his thoughts on the three components of a good referral. For a more in-depth look at what makes a good referral, look for our next blog coming out in November, in which we discuss the art of the referral. We'd love to hear your thoughts on what makes a good referral! #Referral #BusinessReferral #GiveFirst #GoodReferral #EnterpriseGrowth #BusinessGrowth

The District Wharf is one of the region's most ambitious and impactful developments in decades. AEG Inner Circle members and guests were treated to a private briefing by developer Hoffman & Associates and a site tour by principal architect Perkins Eastman. We learned about the need, the opportunity, development and current operations that connected the city to the waterfront. After the tour, we dined at Limani, a Mediterranean seafood restaurant focusing on traditional Greek specialties that overlooks the Washington Channel. #InnerCircle #DistrictWharf #CEONetworking
