Audubon family consists of: Audubon Park and Riverview, Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, Audubon Species Survival Center, Audubon Wilderness Park, and Audubon Nature Institute. We're excited to welcome Amy Rutherford as our new Vice President of Learning and Engagement and Managing Director of Audubon Louisiana Nature Center! Amy is a strategic leader dedicated to fostering relationships and building systems that advance missions and promote equity. Amy most recently worked as Vice President of Learning & Engagement at the Birmingham Zoo since March 2022 where she led education, interpretation, volunteer coordination, staff learning, and inclusion programs. She previously spent over a decade at the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), culminating as Director of Professional Development & Education, leading the association’s professional learning and leadership programs, evolving education initiatives, and championing diversity and inclusion efforts.

Happy EMS Week! Did you know that we have our own EMS team? Audubon EMS provides an EMT (Emergency Medical Technicians) at each of our facilities to provide emergency medical care to our guests and staff during open hours. It's a small team, but they do great work. During EMS week, we want to thank our EMS team for the work they do and all of our other EMS partners in the City of New Orleans.
