The AUKUS Forum Quantum Taskforce brings together industry, academia, researchers, government, and defence.

About us

The AUKUS Forum brings together industry, academia, researchers, government, and defence from the three member countries to provide valuable insights into the needs and aspirations of a diverse group united in a desire to make AUKUS work, and identify the opportunities it presents. Through this, we can help boost jobs, the economy and manufacturing, by providing companies, many of them family run, with the ability to diversify and expand into new markets. The AUKUS alliance is much more than just Australia acquiring nuclear submarines, with the agreement opening new opportunities, including technology and innovation into areas such as cyber and artificial intelligence. Caroline Kennedy, United States Ambassador to Australia, recently said: “I think AUKUS is a really significant partnership between three of the closest allies, it includes submarines but also other areas of co-operation that will provide great benefits to all our countries.” This has also been echoed by the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese who said it “… represents a transformational movement for our nation, our Defence Force and our economy."
