Meet Aaron, our IT Production Tech at avad3!  Before joining avad3, I began my career in broadcast as a night producer and later transitioned to become a children's ministry production associate. The most inspiring aspect of my job is the opportunity to assist people in effectively communicating their messages. In event production, my favorite aspect is aiding individuals in crafting the desired atmosphere to effectively convey their message. Outside of work, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my family and embracing the beauty of nature. If I could possess a superpower, I would choose the ability to fly. Flying would just be fun!

Headed home from Detroit today after a fantastic week serving the Site Selector’s Guild. This is the 3rd opportunity I have had to work alongside the incredible Angela Rogers Group serving the Guild. New Orleans, Nashville, and now fabulous Detroit. The thing I love about travel shows is managing the unknown variables. Imagining the obstacles that could arise, and always being willing to pivot to plan B, C, D… 🕺 Feeling especially grateful this trip; there’s something about this city and how it is revitalizing itself that has left me inspired. Thank you again to Megan Neumeier, CMP, Brian and Angela Rogers for the incredible event planning (as usual!), Westin Book Cadillac Hotel staff and the encore team running their in house A/V for being welcoming partners. Also, peep the cold sparks! Thank you to Eventadora out of Plymouth, Michigan for the excellent rental service! So impressed with each of you and grateful to have been on the same crew as you this week. Finally, thank you to Kari Klingerman for holding down the fort through it all. Thank you for supporting me even as you manage some seriously inconvenient tornado recovery at home as well as managing the house solo so I can do this super cool job. I appreciate and love you.

How often are you getting your whole team together? The first of every month, we all sit down for a 90min "All Hands" lunch together. Being an event production company, waiting for perfect attendance would mean this would never happen. We offer Zoom and share the recording afterwards for folks who are on PTO or off that day. We do it low-tech so our technicians are able to listen not be mixing. I love these moments. Some key highlights: __Gold Stars __Positive Focus __Show and Tell __Leadership Message It takes about five minutes to tear down the table and chairs, and then we each dive into various rooms to have a "round up" for each of the 5 small teams that make up our company. In those round ups, our Chief of Staff Paige Cash and I go from room to room offering Q&A from anything big we announced at All Hands that needs further explanation. My hope in anything I'm sharing is that it might inspire you as a Leader and a Manager! I've been inspired by hundreds of books and mentors, and I want to turn and do the same now!

Meet Alex, a Production Manager at avad3! The most inspiring part of my job is witnessing the joy on clients' faces when they see their dreams brought to life. In event production, my favorite aspect is collaborating with exceptionally intelligent and creative individuals. Outside of work, I find happiness in activities that relax my mind, such as spending time outdoors, playing video games, and enjoying a round of golf. If I could have a superpower, I would likely choose super strength, although flight is a close contender. While faster travel sounds appealing, I typically enjoy driving, so I'll stick with strength for now!

WE LOVE THE VIBES AT 21C! Being a national production company means we travel around a lot. BUT nothing beats coming home to a local NWA Venue for an amazing event. This week we are featuring some of our work with 21c Museum Hotels in Downtown Bentonville!

Meet Shane, our Logistics Team Lead at avad3! I've held numerous roles at avad3, ranging from Logistics Manager to Operations Director, as well as Sales and Tech roles. If there's a job, I've likely tackled it at some point. The most inspiring part of my job is the interaction with both clients and our team members. Building relationships and collaborating with others keeps me motivated. In event production, my favorite aspect is witnessing a project's journey from beginning to end. It's incredibly fulfilling to see all the hard work and creativity come together in a successful event. Outside of work, you'll often find me involved in sports, whether it's watching or playing, and enjoying quality time with my dogs. If I could possess a superpower, it would be the ability to sleep whenever I wanted.
