Our Story
Our story began as a conversation in 2017 between leaders at IBM and PNC. They saw the potential to create a new way of working together through a trusted, permissioned, and secure environment. The conversation expanded to include Aetna, PNC, Cleveland Clinic, Carelon, Elevance Health (formerly Anthem), HCSC, Sentara, and Merative (formerly IBM Watson Health)—and resulted in comprehensive discussions about solving healthcare’s connectivity and interoperability issues.

A real person with a history, a set of beliefs, feelings of fear and hope, and an expectation to be treated with dignity at a moment when they’re most vulnerable.
