    We’re so excited to have been named “Outstanding Compensated Work Therapy Employer Partner” by the Charleston Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). Our very own Anna Burgess and Tom Tuxbury attended this week’s awards ceremony to accept the honor on our behalf, as part of National Compensated Work Therapy Week. The recognition is a huge deal for us and a testament to our ongoing commitment to supporting veterans. Anna’s involvement with the VA led to veteran Shaun Geiger joining The Vendue team this summer as a maintenance technician. Shaun has been an incredible addition to our team, and we’re excited to celebrate his recognition at the award ceremony as well for his outstanding performance after completing the work therapy program! Thank you to the Charleston VA for these recognitions! We’re beaming with pride for our entire team. 💫 #Veterans #CommunityPartners

    Will Guidara has been manifesting his dreams on napkins for years and uses them as inspiration to work towards those dreams everyday. Over the past couple of years, he has encouraged others to do the same. Just yesterday, he posted an anonymous napkin that reads "Best Restaurant: Le Moyne's Chophouse" in Mobile, Alabama.     The beautiful rooms at The Enclave were highlighted in a recent Better Homes & Gardens article as inspiration for a story on designer approved ideas for modernizing your gallery wall. The The Vendue - Charleston’s Art Hotel's gallery director Barbara Montgomery recommends: “Working a single thread such as a color or color temperature throughout your gallery wall can create unity and balance.     The Avocet team promotions are 🔺 red 🔺 hot this summer! We are so stoked to see so many colleagues continue to advance their careers with us. Please give it up for our latest superstars at Tides Folly Beach! Brittany Riggleman has been promoted to Director of Sales at Tides Folly Beach after having joined the property team as the Group Sales & Service Manager in 2022. Brittany will be your go-to gal for any event needs in Folly! Teraneka Major has been promoted to Front Office Manager at Tides Folly Beach. Teraneka is a Charleston native with over 20 years of experience in customer service and sales. Most recently, she served as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Tides and she's thrilled to be bringing her positive attitude to the front of house. Desiree Davis has been promoted to Housekeeping Supervisor at Tides Folly Beach. Also a Charleston native, Desiree joined the Tides team in April as an Inspector and quickly proved to be the perfect candidate for Housekeeping Supervisor. Congrats to all of our incredible team members!

Jonavin has had an illustrious career in the food & beverage industry, with positions ranging from managing F&B concepts to executive chef roles.
