We’re thrilled to announce a new #AppNote created together with Ronawk exploring the use of our AX / AX R #Confocal #Microscopy system for imaging Ronawk’s Bio-Blocks™! Bio-Blocks are a 3D, tissue-mimetic, and modular cell culture system providing improved physiological relevance, demonstrated in this case for culturing adipose #StemCells. A major hurdle for imaging any 3D cell culture system is attaining the same level of subcellular detail realized with traditional adherent cell cultures. The AX, together with our #NSPARC #ImageScanningMicroscopy detector, makes it possible to resolve these details and with a high level of optical sectioning deep into the sample. Video features a 3D view of cells that proliferated into a Bio-Block microchannel, imaged using our 40x Plan Apo Lambda S silicone immersion lens and comparing the performance of a traditional PMT detector with the NSPARC.
