Equipped with in-depth expertise in foam resin design and production, Bakelite has become a leading phenolic supplier for foam manufacturers. These foams are widely used not only in the construction industry, but also in the automotive, transportation, mining and agricultural industries. As an example, the US football season is underway, and the stadiums that host tens of thousands of fans require extensive piping systems, stretching over long distances, to regulate temperature. These pipes are often part of the facilities’ HVAC systems, which are designed to maintain optimal conditions for both spectators and players. Congratulations to Bakelite customer, RoyOMartin, on their oriented strand board (OSB) manufacturing facility expansion in Corrigan, Texas. With the completion of this expansion, the Corrigan facility will contribute significantly to Texas’ growing manufacturing sector, with a total of 300 jobs at the location, and claim the title of the largest OSB facility in all of North America. Over the last 100 years, RoyOMartin has become one of the primary panel manufacturing companies in the region.
