We've Been Named One Of The Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals In The Nation! We're thrilled to announce that Barrett Hospital & HealthCare has once again been recognized by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) as a 2024 Top 20 Critical Access Hospital (CAH)! This marks our sixth time receiving this prestigious award, and we couldn't be more proud of our team's dedication and commitment to excellence in healthcare. Being acknowledged as a Top 20 CAH is an incredible feat achieved by less than 1.5% percent of rural hospitals nationwide. The National Rural Health Association names the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals from a larger set of Top 100 CAHs, which is evaluated and produced by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.  This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering first-class healthcare to our community, ensuring that each and every patient receives the highest quality of care, compassion, and support. For us, healthcare is about more than just treating a problem - it's about focusing on delivering exceptional quality and health outcomes, ensuring top patient satisfaction, and providing the care that our community needs and deserves.

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is in the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals for 2024; One of Two Hospitals Nationwide to Have Earned Their 13th Top 100 Award Chartis, a comprehensive healthcare advisory firm, today announced the 2024 Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals and the 2024 Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals. Based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, this annual program recognizes outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals. Included among this year’s recognized facilities are 23 Critical Access Hospitals earning Top 100 status for the first time, as well as 19 Rural & Community Hospitals receiving their first Top 100 honor. Two Critical Access Hospitals – Barrett Hospital & HealthCare (MT) and Brodstone Healthcare (NE) have each earned their 13th Top 100 award, while 14 facilities claimed their 9th Top 100 award in the Rural & Community Hospital category. Now in its 14th year, the INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. Featuring a methodology utilizing publicly available data, the INDEX is leveraged nationwide by rural hospitals, health systems with rural affiliates, hospital associations, and state offices of rural health to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
