Happy #PlasticFreeJuly ! 🌎🌿 This July, let's tackle plastic pollution together! We're leading by example and reducing plastic in our own operations. ♻️ Until recently, we used plastic cores in all our bale wrap (that's roughly 12,000 rolls per year across the group!), with over half containing plastic cord. We targeted this specific supply chain item and are proud to announce that 100% of our bale wrap now uses cardboard cores! So, what steps can you take to manage your plastic use? ♻️ Reduce: Our team of experts can help you analyse your supply chain and make changes to reduce the amount of waste you produce. ♻️ Reuse: Find innovative ways to repurpose plastic items within your business. Use old containers for storage, create DIY projects from discarded plastics, and think creatively about extending the life of your plastic materials. This will help foster a culture of sustainability and creativity among your team. ♻️ Recycle: Partner with us to ensure your plastic waste is recycled responsibly. Here’s how we handle plastics responsibly after we collect it from our customers: 🔄 Shredding: We break down the plastic into small pieces.  💧 Washing: These pieces are thoroughly cleaned to remove any impurities.  ⚙️ Pelletizing: The clean plastic is turned into pellets. This #InternationalPrideDay and throughout #PrideMonth , we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and their ongoing fight for equality. We remember the long journey for acceptance and understanding, and the progress made thanks to the courage of so many.   While we celebrate progress, we recognise that there will always be more work to do. Inclusion is key, and at Beauparc, we're committed to fostering a welcoming environment for everyone.   This year, we're thrilled to be working with Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride CLG, a non-profit fighting for LGBTQ+ equality. They raise awareness through events like the Dublin Pride Festival & Parade, advocate for policy changes, and offer support services to the LGBTQI+ community in Dublin. Colleagues across the group participated in the "Letters and Stripes" and "How to be an Ally" training sessions, focusing on understanding identities, terminology and how to support those in the LGBTQ+ community.   We're proud to be supporting upcoming pride events across the UK and Ireland, and are committed to working with organisers to implement sustainable practices during the festivities.    Together, let's build a future where everyone feels seen, valued, and understood.   Happy International Pride Day! 🏳🌈

Bug hotels, beaches and becks... they all play a part in our environmental journey.   When we’re not working with the NHS to develop wildlife habitats, supporting communities with beach cleanups or championing initiatives to remove plastics from watercourses, we’re working hard to achieve our Net Zero target by 2040.   Here are just a few of our group projects that we’re very proud of.   ☀ Solar We’ve already made really good progress installing solar arrays at a number of our sites and our end goal is to substitute 25% of the group’s onsite electricity demand with renewable solar electricity.    💡 Generating energy Through innovation, Beauparc generates more energy than we consume across all three of the countries we operate in via the conversion of biogas to electricity.   🚛 Fleet Beauparc will focus on the emissions our fleet generate, moving away from fossil fuels and replacing our fleet with low or zero carbon alternatives. We’re already on this journey!   🌎 Climate While climate adaptation is half of our journey, we also take responsibility for our role to reduce our ecological impact. We’ve initiated a biodiversity action plan and biodiversity net gain assessments across our business, this will work towards protecting the physical environment in which we operate.   In a year of change, today is a great opportunity to measure our progress.
