Midvale Senior Center Midvale, UT This project, created for adults aged sixty and above, aims to dispel the negative associations often linked with traditional senior centers by incorporating spa and hospitality design elements. Spanning approximately 20,560 SF and completed in 2015, the center features extensive fitness areas and a unique café that serves lunch to seniors, while also offering beverages, pastries, and sandwiches to the public during the day. The facility is designed to be highly adaptable and multi-functional, catering to the varied needs and preferences of an aging population. Spanish Fork Fire Station No. 62 Spanish Fork, Utah Spanish Fork Fire Station No. 62 was constructed on a compact 14,800 SF site and features a modern, single-story design. Completed in 2020, the state-of-the-art facility incorporates advanced smart health and safety innovations to enhance the protection of first responders. The design showcases sleek, contemporary elements, including exposed structural steel frames both inside and out. This project was recognized as Utah Design & Construction's Most Outstanding Public Project Under $10 Million in 2020. Team: Blalock and Partners and WESTLAND CONSTRUCTION, INC.

Capitol Student Housing Boise Idaho Capitol Student Housing is a modern four-story residential building atop podium parking. It houses 91 units with 278 bedrooms, a fitness center, quiet and active study rooms, and commercial space on the ground floor. The structure’s unique triangular design features an inviting interior courtyard. Boise State University students appreciate the proximity to campus and easy access to downtown Boise. St. George City Hall at Town Square St. George, Utah The new St. George City Hall at Town Square, Utah, will span 69,500 square feet across three levels. The expanded Council Chambers will seat 300 people and can transform into a community or training space. A 4,350-square-foot civic area on the ground floor will host events, art installations, and exhibits. An atrium will link City Hall to a new 290-stall parking structure, offering 24/7 access to Town Square, the St. George Tabernacle, and nearby businesses. Huntsman Foundation Building Remodel - Site Visit 🦺 Salt Lake City, UT A couple of our engineers recently visited the Huntsman Foundation Building remodel site. This project involves significant updates to the existing building, including relocating the elevator, adding a penthouse with a rooftop terrace that offers stunning views of Salt Lake City, and undertaking various other renovations. Eagle Mountain Cedar Pass - Site Visit Eagle Mountain, UT Exciting progress is happening at the Eagle Mountain Cedar Pass meetinghouse! Our engineer recently visited the site, where framing for the steeple began today. The project, which features stunning wood trusses and wood shear walls, is on track to finish framing within the next week.
