Exciting news! The Senate has unanimously passed, and the House has introduced, the Big Brothers Big Sisters 120th Anniversary Resolution, thanks to Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Todd Young (R-IN), and Representatives Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA) and Mark Amodei (R-NV). This bipartisan resolution recognizes BBBS's 120 years of mentoring impact, highlights mentorship's transformative power, and supports our program expansion. Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas Had one of the best days of this year. Hung out with my #little and we went to Topgolf. At the same time, had a team from the #airforce Enlisted Public Affairs follow us and created a story about our journey.

Wow! What an honor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to be recognized on one of the world’s biggest humanitarian stages for the transformational impact of our mission! This week, I was invited to take the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative Summit where we made a bold commitment to creating a powerful pathway to upward economic mobility for young people through career workplace mentorship. Part of our Big Vision as we embark on celebrating our 120th anniversary is for EVERY PURPOSE DRIVEN COMPANY in America to offer a workplace mentorship program. We know this vision is not only important for our young people to have the skills they need to thrive but transformative for corporate employee engagement, talent pipelines and the bottom line. I’m so proud of our local Big Brothers Big Sisters, so many of our partners and very importantly YOUNG PEOPLE who are helping us lead the way as the largest youth workplace mentoring provider in the country. I’m truly proud and honored to be a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas mission and vision to help all children achieve success in life. As an only parent to my children, I’m grateful for those who invest the time to mentor, guide, and to support their growth - especially my father (Dr. Steven L. Hall) my mother, and my brothers as I wouldn’t be afforded the opportunity to live my life on Mission to Serve those around me without their support. So for those who ask “are you tired?” As I look into the face of a child, I’m energized and my hope is that we are all energized to help our Littles build futures! They are our FUTURE 🤍 Thank you Denise, Hugh, Ralph, Clare, Shannon, Nhu-Nguyen, Kenneth, Armen, and United Airlines for getting me home safe to my Littles!
