UT Health San Antonio Announces Acting President, Taylor Eighmy PhD. Eighmy is currently the President of The University of Texas at San Antonio and will soon lead the new UT Health SA & UTSA merged university. According to a press release by The University of Texas System , Eighmy "will oversee the creation of a strategic plan that supports a seamless transition, ensuring the new institution continues to build on the excellence of its legacy institutions while establishing itself as the third-largest research university in Texas." Congratulations Dr. Taylor Eighmy and the UT System for this honorable achievement.
