We are excited to unveil our Winter 24/25 brand campaign, brought to life by the creative minds at MMGY Origin 🏔️⛷️ "Come to Your Senses" captures the essence of what makes our resort truly special. You may not be the first to visit. You won't have the slopes all to yourself. And those countless stars twinkling above? They've been there long before us. But there's something magical that happens when you arrive. That indescribable feeling of freedom, of discovery, of finding a place that still feels like a well-kept secret. When you step outside and gaze up at that vast Montana sky, suddenly it's as if the entire universe exists just for you. That's the Big Sky experience we've captured in this campaign. It's not about being first or alone – it's about feeling like you've found your place in the world. We can't wait to welcome our guests and team members to Big Sky this winter. Come discover what makes this place so extraordinary. Watch now: https://lnkd.in/gHeZKeRR

Congratulations to Big Sky Resort's own Alex Syversen, who has just been promoted to Terrain Park Manager! Alex first joined our team in 2012 as a ticket agent after moving from Alaska, but it didn’t take long for him to find himself at home in the Terrain Parks. Since then, he has dedicated nearly every season to our park program. "The Art of the Jump" is a film featuring the story of Alex. By night, her meticulously sculpts the snow into towering jumps, and by dawn, he becomes the first to test his creations, a true artist enjoying his masterpiece. Filmed on DJI Global Inspire 3 Featuring Alex Syverson and Adam Parker Directed by Jay Christensen Filmed by Jay Christensen, Gian Lorenzo Fenetti, Andrew Achter, Patrick Conroy, and Owen Hoffman Edited by Andrew Achter Color correction by Alex Piero Sound FX by Brandon Bingo

We’ve been working hard this summer alongside Jackson Contractor Group to bring the next chapter of the Lone Peak Tram to life: a protective canopy and architectural marvel over the lower terminal. Both functional and beautiful, this freeform canopy will allow the tram cabins to be protected from the elements when not in use, keeping them pristine for years to come. Today, we welcomed our first residents home to our newest team member housing project, Levinski Lodge buildings B & C 🏡 The addition of these housing units, which offer a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment style and dorm style options, is another step forward in making Big Sky home to the people who make this place so special 🏔️ Thank you to our partners Langlas and Associates and Stratford Building Corporation for helping us make this possible! 📷 Ethan Schumacher taken 08.07.24

Read our latest blog "Legacy of Innovation" by Peter Landsman, founder of Lift Blog. It's a deep dive into the past 50 years of lift projects at Big Sky Resort and an exciting sneak peek into the future. https://bit.ly/3SvZXgN 📷 Chris Kamman

The Lone Peak Tram is officially open for the 23-24 winter season. Exactly fifty years and four days from Big Sky Resort’s inaugural opening day in 1973, the new Lone Peak Tram began carrying guests to the resort’s 11,166-foot summit. Like many others, a love for Lone Mountain was the catalyst that shaped Nancy Sheil's life and career. In her inaugural year as Patrol Director and the resort's 50th anniversary season, we asked her to reflect on her personal transformation and that of Lone Mountain. Read "Maintaining the Specialness," a blog about Sheil's path to now and her vision for the future here. https://bit.ly/41fcPL1 📷 Cam McLeod
