Throughout the month of February, we hosted several employee events such as a Ski Race, an Ice Sculpture Contest, Photo Contest and look forward to hosting a Cardboard Box Race in early March. Today our, 'Have Fun Committee' sat down to judge over 100 photo submissions that came in for the Employee Photo Contest and there was one in particular we would like to share. The photo below was taken by one of our Boot fitters, Nikko Grambow. The photo was taken south of our resort boundaries on the south face of, No Name Peak. As Nikko writes, "I had been dreaming of this one for a while now and could not be more grateful for this experience. Shout out to the people and spirits that helped make it happen and made it special." As an important reminder, "If you don't know don't go" We do not encourage the inexperienced to venture out of bounds.

It's not even September and ski resorts across the American west are reporting their first dustings of snow for the season. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR), Wyoming celebrated their first snowfall on the morning of August 26, 2024. Check out the exciting photos below.

Cam Zink, 2X Red Bull Rampage winner and Jackson Hole athlete, and his crew at Sensus R.A.D Trails have crafted one of the best jump trails in Teton County at Jackson Hole’s Bike Park. Big jumps and technical features highlight this pro-style expert trail, aptly named Deer Jump. Zink’s childhood dream of a trail like this has become a reality for the next generation of mountain bikers in Jackson Hole. As we begin to wind down the winter season here at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, we look forward to Rendezvous Music Festival! Rendezvous Fest is a two-day music festival set against the most iconic backdrops imaginable for our incredible music acts: historic downtown Jackson Town Square and the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This year’s lineup features platinum-selling indie rock heroes, The Head and The Heart headlining with Jamestown Revival on Friday, April 5 in Town Square and Mt. On March 21st we held the annual Employee Cardboard Box Race! This is a very fun tradition held on the mountain that brings great energy and creativity by all. Results: 12 Teams total with 9 departments represented. Tie for Runners up: Rub-a-Dub-Dub in a Tub, represented by the Teton Village Sports department and Cool Runnings from Lift Operations! FIRST PLACE and defending champions: TotWheels represented by our beloved Daycare department! Fastest time went to Team Lisan Al Giab with a smokin' time of 14.75 seconds with second place to Cool Runnings crossing the finish line at 15.9. Fun time had by all. Special thanks to our Race and Events Crew for netting and safety. To top it all off we had our new owners, Eric and Mike to judge! Thank you for a wonderful day, everyone! This video was taken in 2018 and shows one of the seven Gazex Avalanche systems that we have at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. These systems allow us to do avalanche mitigation remotely.
