As a community created to amplify Black Professionals, an opportunity like this was further proof that we are forever stronger together. Aside from the Olympics and amazing Summer weather, August is also Black Business Month! Despite growing at a rate of 30% over the last few years, Black-owned businesses with at least two employees represent only 2.5% of all businesses in the United States. These businesses are smaller – only 3% have more than 20 employees, with the vast majority having fewer than five employees. As a Black Owned non-profit organization, we rely on crowdfunding and corporate sponsorship to maintain our experiences. We ask that you consider donating this month to the Black Visionaries Community Fund to help us continue delivering dedicated experiences like The Black Visionaries Brunch. 🎥 Today we’re sharing words from visionary Olivia Campbell, Senior Brand Strategist Special U.S. 📌 Olivia’s Key Visionary Lessons: 1️⃣ It is perfectly acceptable to aspire for more, as life presents abundant opportunities. 2️⃣ Maintain authenticity in your pursuits, and reflect on the motivations behind your aspirations. External influences may inadvertently steer you towards paths that don’t align with your genuine desires. 3️⃣ It’s important to recognize the necessity of occasional breaks. Give yourself permission to rest when needed. Thank you to our visionary, Olivia! ---- ⬇️ Watch the full video below and drop your visionary tips in the comments!
