What an incredible week at the BOMA International Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to BOMA Greater Seattle for giving me the opportunity to attend this year's conference through the BOMA Impact Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to individuals who dedicate their time and efforts to creating a bigger impact within BOMA, and I'm honored to have been selected. Joining Emerging Professionals (EP) and BOMA Champions this past year has been a transformative experience, leading to this amazing opportunity. The conference was a whirlwind of learning, networking, and inspiration. The education seminars were incredibly impactful, providing valuable insights and knowledge that I can bring back to my daily work. From innovative property management strategies to the latest trends in sustainability, each session was a treasure trove of information. It was especially rewarding to see our very own Coleen Spratt - BOMA Fellow speaking on an international level, showcasing the talent and expertise within our community. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies and solutions that are shaping the future of our industry. I made meaningful connections with people from all over the country and even had the delightful experience of petting some amazing dogs at the event! One of the key themes of this year's BOMA International Conference was the importance of rebuilding human connections and showing your true authentic self. This message resonated deeply with me as I had the chance to connect with industry partners and property managers from around the world and build better connections with people in the greater Seattle market. These interactions were not only enriching but also underscored the global nature of our industry and the shared challenges we face. A huge congratulations to our International TOBY winners- Patrick Hennessy, Lisa Glover, Hayley Thomas and Odessa Martin-Morris! Your win is well-earned and truly deserved. It’s inspiring to see such dedication and excellence recognized on a international stage. Philadelphia provided the perfect backdrop for this incredible conference, blending its rich history with a forward-looking spirit. So many great memories from #BOMA2024! Loved being able to be in Philly with many old and new friends. Highlights from the TOBY awards. Coleen Spratt - BOMA Fellow honored as the PNW Regional Member of the Year. Patrick Hennessy and Team CBRE getting 3 buildings in for final consideration and winning with Terry Thomas! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS! BOMA Greater Seattle represents well at these events. Amongst the PNW breakfast, site seeing in Philly, and seeing all the BOMA Members from the PNW was a great experience and continued building of our relationships. I also got to connect with Cory Elliott and his wife for dinner one night, but didn’t get a photo. Always a pleasure to get to see another Flash teammate when I get to another market. Can’t wait for Boston (2025) next year and then finally a WestCoast location, Los Angeles (2026)! Hope we can meet again soon.

We did it! After years of earnest care and steadfast effort, our team broke through to claim an International TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) via BOMA International for the 2023/24 awards cycle. Terry Thomas won in the "Under 100,000 SF" category of competition, ostensibly identifying it as the best in its class for the past year. But truly, these prizes more realistically reflect years of professional care and investment. It's an absolute privilege to work alongside CBRE teammates Kim Berg, Andrea Lachmann, Lisa Glover, Odessa Martin-Morris, Hayley Thomas, Dan Pollino, Chuck Vandenberg, and Brian Henzman on this project. This distinction marks what we already knew, that you're truly Best in Class. The night was made all the more special in sharing it with colleagues including Alicia Hall, Jamie Peterson, Keegan Malone, Calvin Bright, Julian White, Jennifer Peterson, and Margaret Webb, RPA. The BOMA Greater Seattle team, service partners, industry pals, proper friends, a very respectable Canadian gentleman whose name I can't recall but complimented my tie clip, the broader Seattle community there with us in the room and back home. It is a special, special group we've got in this market. Easy to make the difficult delightful, the mundane marvelous. Looking forward to much and more! But for a while at least, we rest. 🏆 💙 💚
