Is your agency managing projects in ClickUp/Monday and tracking time in another tool? This is your sign to move to Bonsai. Splitting time tracking and task management is hurting your business. 🐌 It's slowing you down. Time spent switching between apps could be better used for billable tasks. 📊 You're missing out on important data. You’re forced to work in spreadsheets to compute budget and profitability. 💸 You're paying more than you need to. Why pay for 2️⃣ licenses per team member when you could be paying for 1️⃣? Sounds familiar? Might be time to consider switching to a software like Bonsai. It lets you track time and tasks in one place. It streamlines your processes. It ensures you're getting the most out of your data. It can save you money in the long run. Don't let your tools dictate your workflow. Choose a tool that adapts to your needs and enhances your productivity. → hellobonsai.com #productivity #agencylife #projectmanagement #Bonsai

How is your agency really performing? At Bonsai, we’ve analyzed the utilization rates of over 10,000 agencies. It’s the best indicator of how well you’re using your team’s working hours, and how profitable your agency is. So what's a good billable utilization rate? Top agencies aim for a rate between 70% to 85%. Here’s the breakdown by industry: 🎨 Creative agencies: 70% to 80%. The creative process often involves non-billable brainstorming sessions and internal collaboration. 💻 Digital agencies: 75% to 85%. This benchmark reflects the balance between project work and ongoing internal projects or professional development. 👥 Consulting firms: 80% to 85%. Consultants' work is usually project-based or client-driven, hence a higher utilization rate. Where does your agency stand? Run a quick sanity check with Bonsai’s free calculator → https://lnkd.in/dMxuhEym High-performing agencies don't just check once, they monitor it daily with dedicated reports. Helping agencies and consultants manage and grow their business through software | Account Executive at Bonsai
The one thing I keep hearing from agency Project Managers before I demo Bonsai? “We’re having a hard time tracking project budgets” Here’s why: 1️⃣ Lack of visibility: They track time in one tool and collaborate in another. Making it impossible to forecast properly. 2️⃣ Inefficient processes: They rely on weekly manual updates to track budget progress. Everyone dreads Monday morning when they need to stitch together spreadsheets. 3️⃣ Unpredictable costs: They have unexpected expenses, making it difficult to stay within budget. At some point they start thinking: there must be a better way. That's when they find Bonsai and set up a demo with me. During the demo, I walk them through how Bonsai helps: 🎯 Clear visibility: One dashboard that shows them project tasks, time tracked, costs, and progress in real-time thanks to our unified platform. 🎯 Real-time tracking: They get live updates on project budgets across clients. Bonsai is built for agencies so we have all this reporting natively built. 🎯 Client updates: They leverage Bonsai’s client portal to keep clients informed on projects’ progress and look more professional. That’s exactly why 10,000+ have chosen Bonsai. Sounds familiar? Let’s chat! https://lnkd.in/eKj5bD-7 #AgencyLife #ProjectManagement #ProjectManager #Bonsai #GetItDone

At Bonsai, we’ve analyzed data from over 32,000 agencies across the US, Canada, and the UK, one thing stands out: As agencies grow, managing operations becomes harder. 🔎 Here is what we found: - Agencies with fewer than 10 people: Only 34% have an Operations Manager. - For agencies with 11-20 people: That number jumps to 54%. - For agencies with 50+ people: A massive 94% have already made that hire. The cliff happens between 10-20 people. Growth becomes hard to manage, inefficiencies creep in, and teams feel stretched thin. But hiring an Operations Manager alone isn’t enough. To truly streamline operations and scale effectively, this hire must be coupled with a centralized project management and time tracking platform. Together, they provide the insights and control needed to manage teams, budgets, and processes smoothly. At Bonsai, we support agencies with industry-leading tools that help manage teams, budgets, and operations effectively. 🌱 Whether agencies are just starting or scaling up, Bonsai has the resources to take their operations to the next level. → https://lnkd.in/eUfZkwvt #Agencies #AgencyGrowth #OperationsManager #ScalingUp #AgencyLife #BonsaiSoftware #DataDrivenInsights

Honored and humbled to see this post from the CEO of Bonsai. Redon Gjika 🥹 I’ve been using Bonsai since my freelancing days back in 2016. From day one, it’s been a game changerrrr in managing my business and has played a significant role in helping Zabal Media grow into the agency it is today. I don’t often post about tools (aside from Webflow, of course!), but Bonsai is exceptional. It’s evolved into a solution not only for freelancers and small agencies but is now solving big challenges for larger scale agencies like ours. The entire Zabal Media team now relies on Bonsai, and it’s given us everything we need to ensure we’re running efficiently and profitably. What really sets Bonsai apart is their commitment to continuous improvement. Their team is always receptive to feedback and consistently engages with us to refine what’s working and fix what’s not. The future looks bright with Bonsai, and I’m excited to see where this partnership takes us. Thanks again to the entire Bonsai team (Redon Gjika Lucas Didier AP Johnson Laure A.) for their dedication and support! #AgencyLife #ZabalMedia #HelloBonsai #Growth #Efficiency
He went from freelancing to running one of the 1st Webflow Agencies in the world. Last week, 35-people agency Zabal Media was nominated to receive the Enterprise Agency of the Year award from Webflow. But there’s more to Wilián's success story. Wilián started Zabal 4 years ago and grew it into a 35-people web agency now working with the best brands globally. And one key step in that journey? Upgrading their operations. By switching their project management from ClickUp and Trello to Bonsai, Zabal Media managed to save $150,000 per year while keeping their team efficient. They used to rely heavily on manual work and spreadsheets to stitch together data from tasks, tracked time, utilization and budgets. It was a full time job just to keep everything in check - when it was not failing. Now everything they need is in Bonsai. In just a few clicks, they are now able to: → Track projects budgets in real-time → Monitor profitability → Automatically generate invoices for billable hours The real magic? They identified underutilized resources and optimized their operations within weeks. Before, Zabal only used Bonsai for invoicing. Now, they manage everything from projects to clients and finances all in one place. It's been an honor to witness Zabal's growth over the past 4 years, and we’re excited to see what they’ll achieve next. Congrats Wilián.
