Think your employees can’t handle more? Think again. 💪 COVID-19, economic downturns, and political uncertainties have shown us one thing: we are stronger than we think. Here’s the deal… It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that most workplaces today now demand high resilience. From market volatility to tech disruptions, employees face it all. With resilience, though, they thrive. Without it? The consequences can be dire. The Cost of Low Resilience: - 83% of U.S. workers face work-related stress. - Stress could be costing U.S. companies $300B annually. - Low resilience = higher absenteeism, lower productivity, increased turnover. Read our full blog on why resilience-building initiatives are so important to your company’s present and future success:

Co-Founder + CEO @ Boon | Changing the way businesses grow their people

3 years ago, it was “quiet quitting” Now it’s “coffee badging” Wanna know what I actually read when I see this? I read that people are checked the hell out. And it’s because no one is checking on them. Every year it will be a new iteration of the same phrase. Until we get to the root of the problem. It doesn’t matter if you’re a startup or Google— A one-size-fits-all approach does not work. When you manage a team, an office, or a whole company, you are managing individuals. Individuals have different strengths and needs. If your employee thrives working remotely, why force RTO? If your employee is curious to learn a new skill, why stifle their creativity by restricting them to their role? You could have a dynamic, up-skilled team curated for optimal productivity right now simply by investing in them. No more “coffee-badging” or “quiet quitting” (or whatever new phrase they come up with). It’s time for 1:1, personalized support. Because this approach (IMHO) leaves little room for apathetic employees. Just my two cents.

She earned her International Coaching Federation Credential via the NeuroLeadership Institute in NY, her Raja Yoga Certification from the Himalayan Institute in PA, and her MS in Educational Psychology and BS in Education from UW-Madison, WI. Underrated part of the hiring process? Onboarding. It can set employees up for success or failure — right at the onset. In the case of Amazon? (Market capitalization $1.5 trillion). Their onboarding process has been replicated across 30 countries. So when Alex Simmons got the chance to speak to Donna Alexander about managing this process at Amazon…we were immediately “on board” (😉). Learn how one of the biggest companies in the world brings new employees on deck, and how you can incorporate some of it into your company's onboarding process. (Hint: It has something to do with personalization at scale, which we also know a little about).
