EXPERTS IN LICENSING FICTIONAL CHARACTERS AND CLIPS IN ADVERTISING We make creative campaign visions possible by securing the licensing required. We work with advertising agencies and their clients when they need licensing of characters, clips and other forms of entertainment intellectual property to make their campaign a true success. Like a talent agency, but for characters and clips. We also represent some of the biggest Rights Holders in entertainment including MGM, Universal, Hasbro, ViacomCBS and more. So, whether it’s a much-loved character that will instantly capture attention or a short clip that adds entertainment value to your campaign, we have the experience, knowledge and relationships to get it done.     Each week Born Licensing spotlights one of the characters we represent as licensing agent and, given his recent success in Sainsbury's 2024 Christmas campaign, the BFG is our Character of the Week 👂 The Big Friendly Giant may be the smallest of all the giants in Giant Country, but he is also the kindest. An unlikely gentle soul, the BFG shows us that being unique is wonderful. Speaking a peculiar language of his own creation - Gobblefunk - the BFG is creative and funny, but most of all loveable.     Today, our amazing Amber Cheung embarks on a new adventure as she shifts gears from 'Born' to 'Newborn' on her maternity leave! This year, we celebrated Amber's 5th anniversary at Born Licensing, and the company truly wouldn't be where it is today without her. Highlights include managing a range of incredible licensed advertising campaigns including the #1 most effective UK ad in 2022 (ASDA x Buddy the Elf) and helping our Born To License division surpass all expectations in it's inaugural year. She has also championed an exciting new campaign that goes live next week. And of course possibly her greatest achievement: putting up with me for over 5 years! 🙃 Please join me in sending Amber warm wishes for a joyful and fulfilling maternity leave!
