She is Head of Solution Development and Operations at Bosch and TOP25 Women in Tech in Poland. She is responsible for development and operations of #IT solutions that support marketing and sales for Bosch Rexroth and leading the next generation of leaders in our organization. We are also very proud that she co-founded internal Bosch Digital’s DEI Network “I’ve Got the Power!” and has been actively supporting women as mentor. Marta’s vision for the future is inspiring: she imagines a world where #AI enhances eCommerce, leading to responsible consumption and minimized waste. By optimizing inventory and improving supply chain efficiency, AI can empower consumers to make informed decisions about sustainability. 📜Lasting Legacy: Katherine Johnson🤖 Katherine Johnson was an African America mathematician whose work was essential to the success of the early U.S. space missions. Johnson displayed exceptional mathematical abilities from a young age, and graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 1937, becoming one of the first African American women to earn a degree in mathematics. In 1953, she started working at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), which later became NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Her work there was crucial for missions in space. Her calculations helped map space flights and ensure safety and accuracy of space travel when computers were not yet widely used. Although her contributions went largely unrecognized for years, she gained recognition after the releases of the book "Hidden Figures", and a movie adaption with the same name. Johnson received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, one of the highest U.S. civilian honors, in 2015. She left behind a legacy of inspiring girls and women in STEM. Today, we highlight Smitha Pai Sringeri, IT Project Leader for SAP S/4HANA Digital Transformation. With six years at Bosch and two decades of experience in business and IT, she leads a global team of over 150 members in the S/4HANA Pilot for the Home Comfort business unit. 👩🔬 Who inspires her the most? Smitha admires Sudha Murthy, a pioneer who challenged gender norms in corporate India in the 1970s. Her courageous journey broke barriers in engineering and reshaped hiring practices in India.  Reflecting on her own journey, Smitha notes that career paths are rarely linear and that growth and rewards are directly proportional to the risks one takes. 🔮 Her vision for the future of tech: Smitha is committed to transforming Bosch’s technology landscape through excellence in S/4HANA by 2030, paving the way for innovation and success. 📜Lasting Legacy: Ada Lovelace🤖 First to celebrate Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting the groundbreaking work of Ada Lovelace. Born in London, England back in 1815, she is known as one of the first computer programmers. Her father was a famous poet, and her mother was a mathematician. When Lovelace was young, she showed interest in math and logic, which her mother encouraged. Her most well-known work was for her associate’s prototype mechanical computer. In 1843, Lovelace described an algorithm designed to be processed by the machine. This algorithm is considered the first computer program, making her a pioneer in the field of computing. “Ada”, the early programming language, was named after her. Lovelace believed in the potential of computers and wondered if they could go beyond just calculations to also create music and art; this thinking was unconventional for her time. Despite her significant contributions, Lovelace’s accomplishments were overlooked during her lifetime. It wasn’t until the late 20th century that her work was recognized.
