With 50% of all new construction worldwide each year, China is the largest building market; given that buildings account for 37% of carbon emissions worldwide, decarbonizing this sector has become critical. A report by BCG and the World Economic Forum outlines 11 abatement strategies that, if effectively executed, could reduce emissions by around 80%.
