It's been an incredible year at Boston Common Golf, even without playing a TGL match. From launching our brand, to creating unique experiences for our players and partners after a delayed season, to finding ways to bring golf to the New England Community (and soon Japan), I'm so proud of all that our team has accomplished. A HUGE shout out the Eileen O'Malley and Will Varsano for the tireless hours they’ve put in to make the Frog come to life.
Being a part of building a startup team, in a startup league, has been one of the most enlightening, stressful, and rewarding experiences of my career. Working across 5 other remarkable teams, and our partners at TMRW Sports, as we prepare to launch an unbelievable addition to the game of golf in just 99 days is simply amazing. Can’t wait for everyone to tune in to ESPN to see what we’ve been working on.
Go Frogs!!
Boston Common Golf, a TGL team, has secured Rhode Island-based FM as its first and only principal partner 🤝⛳
This multiyear deal includes in-venue branding at the SoFi Center, player access at FSG events, and visibility in team content. Financial terms weren’t disclosed, but sources estimate FM's investment at around $5M annually.
In addition to this, Boston Common is collaborating with Comcast Business to launch a five-part docuseries, showcasing the team's creation and journey. The first episode will drop in mid-December, leading up to their first match on Jan. 27.
