During this year's HopeNet Speed Networking, 12th grade Scholars showcased their skills over an engaging 8 rounds! 👥🤝 This event gave them the chance to explore career paths, hone their elevator pitches, and engage with professionals from different industries. This year's Evening of Hope 🌙 was yet another unforgettable night, celebrating the hard work and excellence of Boys Hope Girls Hope Scholars! Our French Carnaval-inspired evening was brought to life through masquerade masks 🎭 and stilt walkers with French dishes 🍰 and decor. No theme, though, could outshine the inspiring speeches, heartfelt recognitions, and voices of those who shared their journeys, including Scholars of all ages and our 2024 Pillar of Hope and Heart of Service honorees, 💙 Mr. Kadeem Yorke and 🧡 Ms. Alice Armstrong. We are extremely appreciative of the Scholars and guest speakers that presented during the evening's program as well as our dedicated Evening of Hope committee for making the night so meaningful. Welcome to the 2024 BHGH High School Fair! 🏫 8th Grade Scholars have been making significant strides in preparing for their high school choice process by researching different high schools, learning about their admissions requirements, and discovering the scholarship opportunities available. 🎒📚 In preparation for this year’s fair, they practiced their personal introductions and elevator pitches to present themselves to different school representatives in attendance. Throughout programming, 11th grade Scholars have been spending their evenings with Accellis, a local IT support and services company! They began one of their units with an ice breaker to get to know the Accellis Team, then proceeded by listening to a special presentation from the company's founder on their mission, values, and vision for the future. For two years, we have been so grateful to their team for empowering Scholars with different life skills that keep them knowledgeable and safe in the modern digital world. 🌐💻 #HopeIgnites #BHGHNEO #BHGH #BoysHopeGirlsHope
