This #FoundationFriday, BRAF's Philanthropic Advancement team invites those in our region with a Donor Advised Fund to take part in the National Survey of DAF Donors. BRAF is partnering with the Donor Advised Fund Research Collaborative to gather insight on Donor Advised Funds. DAFs are an increasingly popular tool for charitable giving because of their versatility, allowing donors to give when, what, how and where is most favorable for them. Your participation will help us improve best practices, inform relevant regulations and enhance the use of DAFs as a philanthropic tool. This survey will take only 15 minutes to complete. Last week BRAF and community partners announced the launch of Plan Baton Rouge III, the third round of master planning for the downtown core. A contractor will be selected this fall and planning is set to begin in early 2025. Recently, members of the plan's advisory committee gathered to discuss how to expand on the accomplishments of Plan Baton Rouge I and II in this new plan. This forward-looking initiative will focus on placemaking, new housing, riverfront enhancements, infrastructure improvements, and cultural promotion.
