Bridges Trust recently hosted 'THE EXCHANGE - The Giving Game Changer,' an educational event in our ongoing Philanthropy Series. This session focused on exploring the complexities of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and its impact on philanthropy. Led by Bridges Trust Vice President of Philanthropy, Matt Boyd, this session featured expert panelists, including Marcus Blossom, Athletic Director for Creighton University; Troy Dannen, Athletic Director for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and Adi Kunalic, Founder and President at Opendorse. They provided invaluable insights on NIL regulations and explored critical topics such as the general impact of NIL on collegiate philanthropy, the role of collectives, unique trends in athletes giving back, NIL's influence on women's sports, and the future implications of revenue sharing. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our panel for their candid participation. THE EXCHANGE series is dedicated to uniting influential voices on topics relevant to our community and for those with a philanthropic passion for supporting causes. Bridges Trust is committed to facilitating THE EXCHANGE to enable discussions and an understanding that shared learning and collaboration are essential for driving positive impact and raising philanthropic awareness. We look forward to continuing this important work and exploring new opportunities to support our community through informed dialogue and action.

Bridges Trust CEO Nick Wilwerding was recently featured in an interview with Jessica Coody from the Huskers Radio Network. As the Huskers geared up to face Colorado last Saturday, Nick shared commentary on leadership, drawing parallels between his role and that of Coach Rhule. Nick expressed his admiration for Coach Rhule's dedication and leadership style, highlighting a shared philosophy: the importance of continuous improvement and the avoidance of complacency. As Nick articulated, "Each day presents an opportunity to be 5% better than the last. It's the consistent effort to improve that drives real progress." At Bridges Trust, we believe in this principle not just in athletics, but in our approach to wealth management and client relationships. Here's to leading with purpose and striving for excellence in every endeavor. #GBR #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement #BridgesTrust #NebraskaAthletics #HuskersRadioNetwork
