Landscaping season is right around the corner! Arran Restall and Alba Critchley visited Detroit, MI, area dealerships for their spring open houses, making sure everyone was caught up regarding new features in our Billy Goat and Vanguard products. Further south, CEO Kristina Cerniglia and SVP Thomas Rugg paid a visit to a Mooresville, NC, dealership during customer appreciation day. We value the relationships we build with dealers around the country and are always happy to pay a visit! #BriggsAndStratton #FocusOnTheCustomer #SpringFever #RoadTrip

Briggs & Stratton employees do whatever it takes to stand by our products and brands. We pride ourselves in listening to community needs and identifying areas for improvement. All it takes is one spark of initiative to change the narrative and turn an unsatisfying experience into a chance to demonstrate our commitment to customer service. David and Steve wasted no time solving this customer concern! “I’m in the Lawn Care Nuts Facebook group, which has 10K+ members. I saw a negative comment about a Vanguard engine. Anytime I see something negative about Briggs, I think, ‘How can I help fix this?’ I called the Vanguard team to address the issue.” -David Dooley, President of Allmand Bros., Inc. “I rearranged my day to visit the dealer nearest the Facebook member, who happens to be an influential Ferris dealer for us. The dealer fixed the engine and was happy we handled the issue directly. The customer posted that we stand by our products.” -Steve Iveson, Sales Executive, Vanguard Commercial Power #BriggsandStratton #OneBriggs #PoweredByPossibilities #CollaborativeSpirit

Milwaukee employees celebrated Holi, the Hindu celebration of colors and springtime. There was face painting, songs, samosas, and a presentation about the history of the event. At Briggs & Stratton, we enjoy celebrating traditional holidays and giving employees a chance to share their cultural backgrounds with colleagues. #holi #briggsandstratton #celebratediversity #culturalconnection

It's only March, but we are ready for spring to arrive! Do you remember your first motorized vehicle? Maybe it was a clunky sedan with a cassette stuck in the tape player, or a hand-me-down pickup that somehow ran, against all odds, for another decade. For many Americans in the 1910s, it was the Briggs & Stratton Motor Wheel, a motorized bicycle outfit with an air-cooled single cylinder motor that allowed the rider to reach speeds of up to (and in some cases exceeding) 25 mph. There were no gears, no clutch, no discernible safety measures you can find on the road today. Just a sprung leather seat, a cherry red paint job and dreams of freedom in the tank (note: use unleaded gasoline for best results). Where are you going with your vintage flyer? #springtime #briggsandstratton #motorizedbike #theflyer
