When my friend Lori Dorn with Brin Glass Company asks if I would like to do a road trip to Rochester for the day to stop in at a few mutal clients to thank them for the business I jumped at the chance. Knutson Construction Services's office building in City of St. Louis Park is a great showcase of architecture coming to life. We were fortunate enough to part of the design build team along with HDR and Brin Glass Company on this renovation. I was amazed with the transformation of this facility into the warm and welcoming space it is today. Industrial Louvers provided design and engineering assistance for several architectural elements on the project. My favorites are the ST Series Trellis on the free standing steel structures and the ST Series Screen on the patio area. They both feature a combination of Decoral System wood grain powder coat finish and Sherwin-Williams Fluropon finish. I really like the "pop" of the dark fascia and outriggers against the wood grain blades. The clear anodized aluminum window frames feature our ST Series Sunshades and custom tapered Vertical Fins throughout the building as well.
