November is National Family Caregiver Month! In the U.S., more than half of those providing care don’t recognize themselves as caregivers. As a result, many do not access the tools that can alleviate caregiving stress. This year, the Care Action Network is focusing on highlighting the important of self-recognition as it opens the door for support when needed. Visit their website to learn why self-identification matters. https://lnkd.in/eg5bXkfB

Plans change every year. With the new yearly $2,000 cap on covered out-of-pocket drugs and the option to spread your prescription costs across the year, it’s even more important to review and compare your health and drug plan options. You could find a better plan for your needs and budget. https://lnkd.in/gqkNCurJ

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Village of Somerset Mayor Tom Johnson. Since his election in 2009, Mayor Johnson was a true advocate and champion for Somerset, Perry County, and the whole of Appalachian Ohio. During his time as mayor, he served on nearly every one of our committees at Buckeye Hills Regional Council and always brought a creative and collaborative approach to the topics at hand. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, the Village of Somerset, and all who had the pleasure to know and work with him. The Village of Somerset has shared its official statement on Mayor Johnson's passing at the following link: https://lnkd.in/ebfwU9GT
