May the fourth be with you! You are invited to attend a stellar event - "Galactic Genomes - Exploring the Universe of Rare Diseases".
Cambridge University Rare Disease Society (Cam RDS) and the Cambridge University Genomic Medicine Society (CUGMS) are excited to co-host a conference on Saturday 4th May 2024, 9:30-16:00 at the School of Clinical Medicine.
Join us for a day of talks from leading researchers, poster presentations, rare disease patient voices and representation from over 15 rare disease charities. There will be great opportunities for networking, and free lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided! There will be presentations on multi-omic approaches to cardiovascular disease, mitochondrial diseases, imprinting disorders (Angelman Syndrome), as well as the chance to meet and talk to representatives from a wide variety of charities which will have stalls set up over lunch (e.g. Metabolic Support UK, Sickle Cell Society, Dyskeratosis Congenita / Telomere Disorders Consortium, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, Cardiomyopathy UK... and more!)
