Harnessing Wind Energy Responsibly: CAMS' Commitment to Environmental Stewardship At CAMS, we balance sustainable energy needs with protecting our natural environment. This includes: - Extensive Monitoring: Avian surveys, nest surveys, and acoustic monitoring start years before project construction. - Conservation Strategies: Mitigation efforts like curtailing turbines during peak migration seasons and using advanced detection technologies. - Post-Construction Monitoring: Assessing risks and refining strategies to protect wildlife. Shortly after CAMS APM began monitoring a site, the team detected irregular vibration behaviors in the Aux Cooling Tower Fan Motor. For 11 months, readings spiked to 0.62 mils while the Non-Drive End remained unaffected.
